Acceptable Use Policy and Security Awareness and Training Policy
 

All Judicial Branch employees are obligated to follow the North Carolina Judicial Branch Acceptable Use Policy and the Security Awareness and Training Policy. When you sign the New Employee Orientation Checklist you will be acknowledging that:

  1. You have read, understand, and agree to the policies set forth in the links listed below;
  2. You will use Judicial Branch computer systems only for acceptable purposes and refrain from unacceptable uses;
  3. You understand that to ensure the protection of the Judicial Branch’s legitimate interests and the proper use of State property your email and Internet activity may be monitored;
  4. You understand that annual security awareness training is mandatory;
  5. You understand that your communications over the Internet or email may be public record and should not be considered private; and
  6. You understand that failure to abide by these policies may result in termination of your privilege to use information technology resources and services, personnel action, up to and including termination of your employment, civil or criminal action.
