If you
have any problems regarding your working conditions, discuss them first with
your supervisor. If, at that point, you are not satisfied with your supervisor's
response, then discuss the matter with the next higher level of management
within your division. In most cases, the problem or misunderstanding can
be resolved immediately.
It is the goal of the Judicial Branch to provide
a fair and objective forum for resolving minor differences before they become
major problems. In certain situations employees may be hesitant to voice
their concerns to their immediate supervisor or division head; in those situations,
contact the Employee Relations Consultant in the NCAOC Human Resources Division.
Keep in mind that a good relationship between supervisors and employees is
based on mutual trust, respect, and communication.
