Employment Eligibility Verification
The USCIS Form I-9 must be completed by all employees.
All employees, citizens and noncitizens, hired after November 6, 1986, are required
to complete an Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9)
from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security,
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to verify
that they are indeed eligible to work in the U.S. Therefore, all
employers are required by the federal government to obtain the information on
this form before hiring an individual. All employees must submit
document(s) that establish employment eligibility according to the instructions
on the form.
Our hiring policy is simple: WE FOLLOW THE LAW! This organization hires lawful workers only - U.S. citizens or nationals and non-citizens with valid work authorization - without discrimination. Federal immigration law requires all employers to verify both the identity and employment eligibility of all persons hired to work in the United States. In its efforts to meet the law's requirements, this organization participates in the E-verify program established by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration (SSA) to aid employers in verifying the employment eligibility of all newly-hired employees. Our participation in the program does not exempt us from the obligation to complete a Form I-9 for everyone we hire.
