Supplemental Retirement Plans
		Your participation in these programs is optional The State of North Carolina offers two Supplemental Retirement plans, both distinctly separate and different. These plans were established by the State Legislature to give you a method of investing funds for your retirement while sheltering your investment from your income taxes. Each plan has different features and provisions; you should carefully review each plan before choosing which, or possibly both, might best serve your needs.
