Your Role - Serving The Public in the North Carolina Judicial System
		We are all part of the system of justice. The system depends on us to make it work. If you work in a local court office, the public sees you—as an employee in the court system—as having power over them. How you treat people affects their view of the court system. If you work for the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts (NCAOC), how you do your job affects how well local judicial officials and their employees are able to serve the public. Whether you work in a local court office or in the NCAOC, your job requires patience, consideration, fairness, impartiality, and accuracy.
